Hello to all. After nearly 3months now we finally finished the lisbon project for our client. Much of the modelling was done by Stephan Friedrich and Manuel Geissinger. The Scene contains nearly 2000 Models and 5mio polygons. All modelling & rendeing was done with Lightwave9.2 (64bitversion). Thanks for viewing, hope you like it.

The walls are well made. Houses are well made. Trees ARE well made. In 1100's Portugal had a climate that looked a bit like the vast almost desert areas of Spain and a bit like North Africa in Alentejo, so there were palm trees. Almost every tree we see around Lisbon, Sintra and the tree forest in Leiria were planted afterwards. Yes, even Monsanto, so I give you a big thumbs up, I love this.

Great work! amazing! exept for one thing, i have never seen Palm trees in lisbon, nor anywhere in portugal, there are palm trees today in the south but they were recently panted, but apart form that, it is an amazing work, well done.

today, it is normal, they have been brought from Africa and South America. But remember, Portugal is in europe, the trees taht exist the most, are pine trees, oaks and ash trees ;p but it is a good job anyway ;D very good indeed

I would not see it as medieval Lisbon though... definitly no palm trees, big doubts on the size and curvature of the river as well... were you given a layout of the city to work with? But a stunning image nonetheless.
